Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 19, 2026
Facelessing (“we”, “us”) runs the website and app at faceless.ing, which helps you create short faceless videos. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who helps us process it, and what you can do about it. We don’t sell your personal information and we don’t show ads.
Information we collect
When you create an account
- Your name and email address.
- Your password, if you sign up with email. We store only a one-way hash of it, never the password itself.
- Your time zone, detected from your browser, so schedules run at the right local time.
When you sign in with Google
We receive your name, email address, profile picture and a Google account identifier. We use these only to create and sign in to your Facelessing account. We do not receive your Google password, and with sign-in alone we cannot read your Gmail, Drive, YouTube or any other Google data.
When you use Facelessing
- The content you provide and choose, such as series names, niche descriptions, example scripts, and voice, style and schedule settings.
- The scripts, images, voiceovers and videos we generate for you.
- Feedback you give on videos (for example a thumbs up or down).
Automatically
- Sign-in sessions, stored in a cookie, along with the IP address and browser type used to start each session. We use this to keep you signed in and to spot suspicious sign-ins.
- Standard server logs (requests, errors, timestamps) that help us keep the service running.
How we use it
- To provide Facelessing: create your account, sign you in, and generate, store and schedule your videos.
- To send you emails you need, such as email confirmation and password reset links.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
- To improve Facelessing, for example by learning which generated videos people rate well.
We don’t use your information for advertising, and we don’t sell or rent it to anyone.
Google user data
Facelessing’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data only to provide and improve the features you use in Facelessing, we don’t transfer it to others except as needed to provide those features or as required by law, and we never use it for advertising.
Service providers we share data with
We use a small number of providers to run Facelessing. Each receives only what it needs:
- Railway: hosts the app and its database, where your account and content are stored.
- Cloudflare (R2): stores generated media files such as images, audio and videos.
- Resend: delivers our emails, so it receives your email address and the email content.
- Google: provides “Sign in with Google” and, through the Gemini API, generates images from prompts.
- Anthropic: writes video scripts from your niche and example script.
- ElevenLabs: turns scripts into voiceovers.
The AI providers receive the creative inputs needed to generate your videos (such as your niche description and script text), not your account details. We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.
Social media accounts
Publishing to YouTube, TikTok and Instagram isn’t available yet. Before we launch it, we will update this policy to explain exactly what we access through those platforms and how we protect it.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to protect sign-in flows. We don’t use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your account information and content while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your personal information and content within 30 days, except where we must keep something longer to meet legal obligations or resolve disputes. Server logs are kept for a limited time and then deleted.
Security
We use HTTPS for all traffic, store passwords only as hashes, limit who can access production systems, and will encrypt access tokens for connected accounts. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will tell you if a breach affects you.
Your choices and rights
You can see and update your basic account details in Settings. You can also ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, or delete your account and data by emailing privacy@faceless.ing. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law (such as the GDPR or CCPA), including the right to object to certain processing or to complain to a data protection authority. We respond to requests within 30 days.
International transfers
Our service providers process data in the United States and other countries. When we transfer personal information across borders, we rely on our providers’ safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.
Children
Facelessing is not for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change and change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will also let you know by email or in the app before it takes effect.
